Apoel Claims 4th LSB Title, defeats ‘Unknown’ in Finals Rematch

Πρωταθλητής στο LSB 2023 ο ΑΠΟΕΛ!!!

Ολοκληρώθηκε επιτυχημένα ένα ακόμη Laconia Summer Basketour με την ομάδα του ΑΠΟΕΛ να επικρατεί στον μεγάλο τελικό με 79-68 των Unknown I. BC. Στον μικρό τελικό η Super League Academy επικράτησε με 82-79 των Canada North Kings κατακτώντας έτσι την 3η θέση στο τουρνουά.

Αφιερωμένο το LSB στο Τζάμπολ Αγάπης!!!

Την Τετάρτη 9/8 είχαμε την πρώτη προπόνηση των παιδιών του "Τζάμπολ Αγάπης" στο Κλειστό των Μολάων και το Σάββατο (12/8) παιδιά από την Ακαδημία του ΑΠΟΕΛ καλωσόρισαν την Ακαδημία του "Τζάμπολ Αγάπης" και αποδείχθηκαν την πρόκληση πως σε κάθε κοινωνία όπως και αυτή του αθλητισμού, όλοι έχουμε ίσο δικαίωμα σε αυτόν.

Το βράδυ τον Μεγάλο Τελικό του τουρνουά άνοιξε ο Μιχάλης Τσουμπρής αθλητής στο φασμα του αυτισμού σημειώνοντας τους πρώτους πόντους για τις δύο ομάδες με το σκορ να ξεκινά ισόπαλο 2-2.

Πρώτος σκόρερ, καλύτερη 5αδα και MVP!!!

Πολυτιμότερος αθλητής αναδείχθηκε ο Γιάννης Αθανασούλας, ενώ στην καλύτερη 5αδα εκτός του MVP ήταν και ο Αβραάμ Καλλινικίδης, αθλητής που από το 2016 στηρίζει το τουρνουά κάθε χρόνο δίχως δεύτερη σκέψη.

Την καλύτερη 5αδα ολοκληρώνουν ο Σωτήρης Παπαδάκος από την Super League Academy και οι Jaylen και Tony Eackles Jr από τους Unknown I. BC.

Πρώτος σκόρερ του τουρνουά αναδείχθηκε ο Tony Eackles Jr των Unknown με 85 πόντους έναντι 84 πόντων που σημείωσε ο Theo των Canada N. Kings.

Τέλος στο κατάμεστο κλειστό των Μολάων ζήσαμε δύο μοναδικούς διαγωνισμούς, καθώς ο Wyatt Mc Bee χρειάστηκε 3 παρατάσεις για να επικρατήσει του Παναγιώτη Κωνσταντινάκου στα τρίποντα, ενώ ο Javonte χρειάστηκε να πετάξει στην κυριολεξία για να νικήσει εντυπωσιακά τον διαγωνισμό καρφωμάτων με το κοινό να ζει έναν διαγωνισμό All Star.

Ένα μεγάλο ευχαριστώ στον Δήμο Μολάων και τον Δήμαρχο Ηρακλή Τριχείλη, στο κοινό των Μολάων που στήριξε την διοργάνωση και το Τζάμπολ Αγάπης, τους αθλητές που έδωσαν για μια ακόμη φορά το παρόν, το Religious and cultural path και την Ελένη Βαφιά για το ταξίδι στην Βιέννη που κέρδισε ο κύριος Χαραμής, τον Γιάννη Τσουμπρή και το Τζάμπολ Αγάπης, τον Γιάννη Σφαιρόπουλο και τον Ηλία Αγαθαγγελίδη, τον James Pristouri, καθώς και την ομάδα Αίολος Cheerleading.

APOEL is the champion in LSB 2023!!! Another Laconia Summer Baskettour was successfully completed with the APOEL team winning the grand final with 79-68 over Unknown I. BC. In the minor final, Super League Academy won 82-79 against Canada North Kings, thus taking 3rd place in the tournament.

LSB dedicated to Jambol Agapis!!! On Wednesday 9/8 we had the first training session of the "Jambol Agapis" children at Klistos of Molao and on Saturday (12/8) children from the APOEL Academy welcomed the "Jambol Agapis" Academy and proved to be the challenge that in any society like that of sports, we all have an equal right to it. In the evening, the Grand Final of the tournament was opened by Michalis Tsoumbris, an athlete on the autism spectrum, scoring the first points for the two teams with the score tied at 2-2.

Top scorer, top 5 and MVP!!! The most valuable athlete was Yiannis Athanasoulas, while Avraam Kallinikidis, an athlete who since 2016 has supported the tournament every year without a second thought, was in the top 5 apart from the MVP. Sotiris Papadakos from Super League Academy and Jaylen and Tony Eackles Jr from Unknown I. BC complete the top 5. The first scorer of the tournament was Tony Eackles Jr of Unknown with 85 points compared to 84 points scored by Theo of Canada N. Kings.

Finally at the packed Molao indoor we experienced two unique contests, as Wyatt Mc Bee needed 3 overtimes to beat Panagiotis Konstantinakos in the 3-pointers, while Javonte had to literally fly to impressively win the nailing contest with the audience living a contest All Star.

A big thank you to the Municipality of Molao and the Mayor Iraklis Tricheilis, to the public of Molao who supported the organization and the Jambol Agapis, the athletes who once again gave their presence, the Religious and cultural path and Eleni Vafia for the trip to Vienna which was won by Mr. Haramis, Yiannis Tsoumbri and Tzambol Agapis, Yiannis Sfairopoulos and Ilias Agathagelidis, James Pristouri, as well as the Aiolos Cheerleading team.
